Grown from Pennsylvania to West Virginia and from Maine to the Dakotas, Cherry enjoys a fine reputation as an incredibly versatile hardwood. The slightly pale-pink color when freshly milled turns a handsome dark-red/brown with time. Moderately priced with good seasonal availability, the figured variety shown is considerably more valuable.
