Ceylon Satinwood
Grown in Ceylon, Sri Lanka, and southern India. The beautiful golden-yellow color is accented by what is characterized as a 'bee's wing cross mottled' figure. It is fine textured, lustrous, and aromatic when freshly milled. Satinwood's density and hardness promote a very high polish. Limited availability in timber and veneer.
