Dikela, Pallissandre
This very hard and heavy wood originates from the Belgian Congo, Zaire, Cameroon, and Gabon. It is dark brown in color with fine blackish veining. Its hardness and durability add to the natural abrasion resistance for use in high traffic areas as flooring and architectural paneling. High to moderately-high cost and generally good availability.
