A Few Tables

I cannot begin to explain the reasons why table construction is so appealing to me. Perhaps because no matter how distinctive the design, the target purpose (to place something upon) is purely utilitarian. The accompanying images illustrate a very small percentage of those we have produced. I will include more as time permits.

The table shown above is made in Ash finished in a translucent black that reveals variously colored highlights according to the lighting conditions. The legs are joined by Padauk cross blocks revealing their naturally reddish color. Contrasting the base is a Zebrano top, also finished naturally and rubbed to a very soft gloss.
